History

• Commissioned in 1967 & 1971
• Abandoned in July 1990 due to civil war
• Overtopping of dam and spillway gates during flood season causing major dam failure
• Looting of plant building and equipment
• Reconstruction: 2014-2017

• Assistance to conclude the procurement contract of the electromechanical equipment
• Control and check of the construction drawings of the station’s equipment
